Good morning.
First, I must apologize. For many years, I had been maintaining a steady schedule of posting here about goings on in the Chairman’s Office at Manka Bros. Studios – up until the pandemic – and then it fell off completely.
I mean… other than the pandemic, there was ANOTHER REASON.
But now, after reading Barry Diller’s riveting memoir “Who Knew,” I have been inspired to get back in the game. Barry’s book is a fantastic tale of his journey to become one of the top entertainment moguls and business minds of the last 100 years.
Just a great book. I highly recommend it.
However, I am shocked at the omission of so many of his friends and fellow moguls (including ME!). I was worried when reading that some embarrassing story of me would pop up. But no.
The story I can’t believe he left out was about that day we went fishing together at Pyramid Lake. It was an insane day of beers and boats. But no mention at all.
Fortunately, I wrote about it at the time – and it can be read HERE.
So, thanks to you all for your patience and, I hope, I am back on a more reguar basis. But, as you all know, Hollywood is collapsing and I’m trying to hold it all together in the face of massive industy consolidation.
Have a great day!
