Sarah Palin is living (and profiting) from the character of Sarah Palin that has been created for her by the various puppet masters in her life even though, deep down, the actual Sarah Palin could give a shit what the character Sarah Palin actually says.

The real Sarah Palin just wants to look good and have nice stuff.

And there is nothing wrong with that – unless, of course, because you are faking this hate-filled persona to get nice stuff you actually hurt real people.

Everyone knows Sarah Palin isn’t bright enough to be a force on the Right.

As much as I dislike the Tea Party and hard core Conservatives, they are not stupid people.

Sarah Palin is a stupid person. Full stop.

And I don’t say that to be mean. No female, outside of models and actresses, has done so much with so little brains as Sarah Palin.

She is living the American Dream for those with low IQs.

The idiots at CPAC even gave her a standing ovation for her inane 3rd grade quality rewrite of “Green Eggs And Ham” slamming the Affordable Care Act.

If only that were the real Sarah Palin.

Deep down, I believe the real Sarah Palin doesn’t care much about anything.

I don’t believe she gives a rat’s ass about gay marriage. She would never admit it because that would destroy the fake Sarah Palin, but I can tell she doesn’t care if a man marries a man or a woman marries a woman.

She doesn’t live in a world where she has to give it much thought.

The same goes for immigration reform, Obamacare – she just doesn’t care about these things because she doesn’t have deep thoughts.

She wants to be famous. That’s it. And it has been working for over 10 years.

People love Sarah Palin and people hate Sarah Palin – but no one hates Sarah Palin as much as the real Sarah Palin – because she is living a lie.

Or maybe she’s not even smart enough to know that.

You dampen your credibility by questioning Sarah’s intellect. Even if she did not know what Verisimilitude means, she is smart enough to look it up like I did. Sarah is the real deal and you liberals just can’t stand it. The list of ladies from the left that cannot shine her shoes is legendary.

How about the former speaker for openers.

    • Blair Schirmer · March 10, 2014

That was the funniest post I’ve read this calendar year.

      Bravo!

    • Tom · March 10, 2014

Really? Are you serious with what you just wrote?

Mrs. Palin is not a smart woman. She has proven this, time and again. Liberals are not worried about her. Trust me on this. The best thing that could happen to liberals would be for her to get nominated to run for POTUS on the GOP ticket. We would probably take 49 out of 50 states, the lone holdout probably being Oklahoma (because they’re as crazy as she is).

You mention Ms. Pelosi as a comparison. In fact, she has done more good, and served more honorably than Mrs. Palin would ever hope to dream. The list of women from the left who are better, smarter, and have accomplished more than she has is legion.

I am hoping your comment is sarcasm. If it’s not, quick, get to the doctor. Your brain is missing.

    • Bill · March 10, 2014

Would that be the same shoes she picked up on her famous shopping spree to outfit her hillbilly family?

    • Bob · March 10, 2014

No, She isn’t. She speaks entirely in cliches and platitudes, and her anti-intellectual rubbish is destroying any credibility conservatism had. There are intellectual, sensible conservatives out there, and their voice is being passed over by charlatans and chest-thumping rubes, all for the sake of the almighty dollar.

I just love hearing LIBS call conservatives “phony”. I’ve heard the same thing about Limbaugh. “He doesn’t believe what he is saying”..”its the easy way to go”..etc. How laughable. Being a mind numbed liberal robot like yourself who tests the wind before speaking and would rather sacrifice values for worldly praise is “the easiest road to take” Jill. Why? Because you are applauded by the vocal minority and it keeps you from getting your feelings hurt. If you are trying to tell me Palin has it better and “easier” in life after all the things said about her and her family by the left (Letterman and Maher ring a bell?), then you’re the phony. If she was a flaming feminist you would love her. If her speech was about abortion instead about our abolished rights under this administration, she’d be the smartest, most talented woman out there in your book. BTW – speaking of someone crafted to be anyone you want him to be..I give you our current preezie.

    • Tom · March 10, 2014

Limbaugh is a great example. It’s funny that you call us liberals robots, when you basically just said, hey, whatever Limbaugh says is fine by me! You did this, by defending him. When you defend him, you come from a place of ignorance, because most of, if not ALL of what Mr. Limbaugh bleats about on a daily basis is a fiction. That you haven’t figured this out yet, worries me.

Maher, is not a liberal. He has never claimed to be a liberal. He’s a libertarian. That’s what he is.

Second, Letterman? He apologized for the ridiculous joke that he made. He called her directly, and apologized. Let me know when Palin does that when she belittles and insults people, because yes. She does it. All of the time.

Feminists don’t have to be liberal. I believe Mrs. Palin to be a feminist, and that’s fine by me, and everyone else I know.

What abolished rights have you, or anyone else “lost” under Obama? Go ahead. Name them. I bet you can’t do it. You believe the fiction and yes, lies and misinformation told to you by people like Limbaugh, and Palin without thinking for yourself.

      • Dennis · March 10, 2014

That’s Hillarious! Palin also considers herself to be a Libertarian. Bill Marher is an anarchist. He HATES everything the White Male has built in this country, that is why he sees a racist in every corner. He HATES, so he believes all others do. Obama is the same. He is an ANARCHIST desparately trying to tranform this country. He is also is a LALALAND Liberal: “I will push back the seas and heal the planet.” He really said that. God help us!

        • Dennis · March 10, 2014

TOM, you are delusional. Name me the PERSON Palin insulted. She has said nothing different about Obama that his two Secretaries of Defense haven’t written about him in their books. Name someone else she has insulted? She calls out LSM, which they are, or better yet their Lapdogs. She calls out Republicans but only in their elected rolls, in which they owe their attention to those that elected them. I don’t know of these LIES and misinformation that has come out of Palin, but Obama this is a daily occurrence.

        • PaulMcCarthy · March 10, 2014

Maher eschews political labels, referring to himself as “practical”. In the past, he has described himself as a libertarian, and has also referred to himself “as a progressive, as a sane person”. He has also referred to himself as a “9/11 liberal”, noting that his formerly liberal view of Muslims changed as a result of the attacks on September 11, 2001, and he differentiates himself from liberals of the opinion that all religions are equal. You are either “un” or “mis” informed. Read more – write less.

    Political views
Main article: Political messages of Dr. Seuss

Geisel was a liberal Democrat and a supporter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the New Deal. His early political cartoons show a passionate opposition to fascism, and he urged action against it both before and after the United States entered World War II. His cartoons portrayed the fear of communism as overstated, finding greater threats in the House Un-American Activities Committee and those who threatened to cut the US “life line”[40] to Stalin and the USSR, whom he once depicted as a porter carrying “our war load”.[39]

Geisel supported the Japanese American internment during World War II. His treatment of the Japanese and of Japanese Americans, between whom he often failed to differentiate, has struck many readers as a moral blind spot.[64] On the issue of the Japanese, he is quoted as saying:

But right now, when the Japs are planting their hatchets in our skulls, it seems like a hell of a time for us to smile and warble: “Brothers!” It is a rather flabby battle cry. If we want to win, we’ve got to kill Japs, whether it depresses John Haynes Holmes or not. We can get palsy-walsy afterward with those that are left.
—Theodor Geisel, quoted in Dr. Seuss Goes to War by Richard H. Minear[65]

After the war, though, Geisel overcame his feelings of animosity, using his book Horton Hears a Who! (1954) as an allegory for the Hiroshima bombing and the American post-war occupation of Japan, as well as dedicating the book to a Japanese friend.[66]

In 1948, after living and working in Hollywood for years, Geisel moved to La Jolla, California, a predominantly Republican town.[67]

Shortly before the end of the 1972–74 Watergate scandal, in which United States president Richard Nixon resigned, Geisel converted a copy of one of his famous children’s books into a polemic by replacing the name of the main character everywhere it occurred.[68] “Richard M. Nixon, Will You Please Go Now!” was published in major newspapers through the column of his friend Art Buchwald.[68]

The line “A person’s a person, no matter how small!!” from Horton Hears a Who! has been used widely as a slogan by the anti-abortion movement in the U.S., despite the objections of Geisel’s widow. While Geisel preferred to let his work speak for itself, he did occasionally speak out to protect his characters from exploitation. In 1986, when the line was first used by the pro-life movement, he demanded a retraction and received one.[69]

I just laugh at conservatives who take this woman seriously. Sarah once her husband was a stay at home dad. George Lopez had the best comeback: “When I was a kid we used to call guys like him a bum.”

It’s totally unfair that someone as intelligent as you, who are personable, smart and witty (and, I’m also sure without proof, sharply dressed and good smelling), haven’t been called yet to shoulder a greater burden in the destiny of your nation.

We’ll remain vigilant, and are ready to click whatever hyperlinks may be necessary to bring you to your rightful place.

  6. Swanny · March 10, 2014

Editorials tend to come across bitter, one sided rants. But they are entertaining. Truth of the matter is While Palin seems to be promoting the GOP. No single person or group (Tea Party) can assure another Democrat being elected behind Obama more. This splinter group really does nothing but make brash, ridiculous shock statements, scare the general public into voting opposite. If I was a Republican, I would vote to keep these folks out of Washington. Hillary will win in a landslide.

    • Bobman · March 10, 2014

No…..I have to draw the line at “cankles”

    • Dennis · March 10, 2014

BENGHAZI!!!!! Hillary will answer for and show the Incompetent and Corrupt politician she has always been. Who is responsible for arresting a US citizen displaying his First Amendment RIGHT to Free Speech in a Movie-Trailer mocking Mohammed? I recall Hillary telling the parent of a dead Special Ops: “i will bring the man responsible for that reckless, hateful video to justice.” Hillary is a dead man walking.

  7. Mike B. · March 10, 2014

Let’s sum up this article: Palin is dumb, stupid, dishonest blah blah blah.
To call this piece shallow and petty would be to compliment it.
But thanks for the great pix of the Governor. I pray that she runs and wins the White House, if only so that we can see liberals like Jill begin jumping off tall buildings and bridges. BOOM! SPLAT! THUD!

    • Bill · March 10, 2014

That would have to be one hell of a prayer to make that happen. She’s a quitter and doesn’t have the slimmest chance of making it out of the GOP primary. The GOP is smarter than that.

      • Dennis · March 10, 2014

Palin will take victory in a third Party. No one wants to vote for Hillary or Jeb.

  8. Davillus Hynzerelli · March 10, 2014

As much as Palin’s voice makes me cringe she has a BS degree from the Univ of Idaho. Maligning her as a imbecile is a stretch. That said I’m in complete agreement w/ both Mike B & Kevin Healy’s sentiments(above). So stick that in your bong hole & choke on it.

    • Anne M. · March 10, 2014

She has a “BS” degree, all right. Doesn’t she claim that her degree is in journalism? Why then is she so hostile toward the media, and why is she still fuming because Katie Couric asked her what newspapers she reads?

      • Dennis · March 10, 2014

What world do you live in? She answered the question. “All that is in front of me. A very common response. It is only the Palin haters that READ something into her response that wasn’t there. Like “Palin can’t read.” DUH!

  9. Beth Stafford · March 10, 2014

Well, that BS degree is after she attended 4 or 5 colleges…and no one has ever seen it. Just saying

    • Dennis · March 10, 2014

What are you SAYING? That she had failing grades? Because she didn’t. If you read her book you would know the reason. Look it up.

@Jill Wow a re-hash from 2014, talk about promoting yourself….especially posting your own link in another paper. Totally classless, and yet you rag on Sarah…Tsk,tsk, tsk

  11. Dennis · March 10, 2014

    Jill,

You are a beautiful woman, but perhaps very naive. Knowing what “verisimilitude” means is completely irrelevant. Winning the Presidency has nothing to do with knowledge or intellect (education – this irrelevancy has yet to go away), and you should be smart enough to see Mccain and Hillary are proof of this.

No winning the Presidency is about popularity and good looks. Whether you are likeable! Palin has this in spades. Your theory about Palin (puppet masters? Who? Todd Palin!) doesn’t take into account her being elected Governor and being the most popular, highest rating, politician among high ranking positions in this Century, BY FAR!!!! Liberal Media in Alaska called her “A PHENOM!”

There is nothing “hate-filled” or “polarizing” about her vision for this country. In fact, it is the most far reaching vision for prosperity than any politician in this country. Who else talks about the Fort Knox of energy that Alaska is, and the fact that it could be the Saudi Arabia of energy for the 21st Century? Her passion comes from the FEAR millions of us feel for the future of this country.

“Everyone knows Sarah Palin isn’t bright enough to be a force on the RIGHT” How absurd. Did you miss the bus? Her bus? She IS the largest force on the RIGHT, just ask Karl Rove. I guess it wasn’t your intellect that got you your job, you are obviously very beautiful. I’m guessing your charisma and beauty is the reason you have your job, and when Palin takes the oval Office, that will be her reason, as Hillary & Mccain will watch her swearing in.

    • Dennis · March 10, 2014

PS, who gives a CRAP about Same Sex Marriage? Go ahead and do what you call being married. If this is the issue you vote on for the Presidency? Than no wonder we are in the shape we are. Kirstin Powers stated “I don’t know anyone who votes for the Presidency because of the deficit and the amount of money the Federal Gov’t spends.” This is why the DEBT BOMB will crush your generation Jill. Your preoccupied with SOCIAL issues (contraceptives? seriously?). There needs to be some serious growing up here.

  12. Dennis · March 10, 2014

Thank you for her CPAC Speech. I loved in then, and I love it now. As Nicole Wallace stated during the campaign (before she was told to tear Palin down), in fact the night before the election on a video with FoxNews: “Sarah Palin is a once in the lifetime politician. She has gifts very rarely scene.

So Jill, I ask you do you want to see Hillary get to be eighty with stumps for legs, or see one of the most sexy powerful woman who has ever been on the National Stage? I have met her twice in intimate settings. Like Trump and Rev. Graham has stated, Sarah Palin is a very rare and special person. She has Special NEEDS! She nneds Liberals to vote for her, and the world be RIGHT again.

To Kevin Healy: ‘The list of ladies from the left that cannot shine her shoes is legendary.” I’m sure it is. Please post that list.

  14. MJP · March 10, 2014

Just have to say: this conversation is moot, because the article is as well. Conservative media, liberal media, doesn’t matter: they both figured out early that the Sarah Palin tag gets clicks, and brawls in the comments sections produce more. Sarah Palin doesn’t need to be a political candidate. She’s a brand. And the brand sells briskly among those who love her and hate her alike.

Sarah Palin was smart enough to realize that she could earn more money and influence by pushing her brand at Fox and CPAC than through legislation. I can’t know why she quit the governorship, but I’d bet heavily this is the reason why. She didn’t choose her moment, it chose her, but give the woman credit for recognizing that for a few years there, it WAS her moment. Call her delivery ‘word salad’ or ‘speaking truth to power’ (I’ll pick the former, although I’m getting tired of the description), her whole ‘libtard’ baiting game worked. We clicked then; we’re still clicking now.

Observing the (unwritten) rules in politics matter, so Palin won’t be president (c’mon everyone, that’s obvious). As Ailes said, she was hot and got ratings. That’s worth a lot, and a good chunk of it went to her. She won the short game. Lately it seems she realizes there’s no winning the long game, politically speaking, for her. If she realizes that, she’s even cannier than liberals want to admit.

  15. Stormalong · March 10, 2014

It’s amazing how gullible liberals are. They swallow and then regurgitate liberal/Democrat propaganda as passed out by the media almost word for word.
