Manka Bros. Commits Exclusively To HD-DVD Format...
Good afternoon. I have a quick announcement concerning Manka Bros.' future in the high-definition DVD space.
After a long and sometimes violent conversation with Toshiba President & CEO Atsutoshi Nishida, I am proud to announce that Manka Bros. is committing 100% to the HD-DVD format. This was not an easy decision - especially considering the current momentum of the Blu-ray format. But I made the decision and that is that.
So... as of today, Manka Bros. will be the only major Hollywood studio distributing movies and television in the HD-DVD format going forward. I am expecting, however, the other studios to dump Blu-ray and come over to our side in the near future (perhaps right after Christmas).
I am very excited to be exclusively in this superior format. I am also very excited that Mr. Nishida did not commit suicide as he had threatened to do several times during our conversation.
Khan Manka, Jr. - Chairman & CEO - Manka Bros. Studios
P.S. - Our first release under this exclusive agreement will be a Special Collector's Edition 2-Disc set Freak Accident starring Harland Williams.

At least the decision has been made. It's been tough waiting on the sidelines while everyone else puts out product. Both formats are doomed to failure anyway as consumers will migrate directly from standard DVD to digital downloading.
