Manka Bros. Studios Offers "Creative" Freedom To Top Executives

"No More Defections To Pursue Creative Endeavors"

Burbank, Calif., March 16/PRNewswire/ -- In a move that could signal a shift in the way Hollywood compensates its top executives, Manka Bros. Chairman & CEO, Khan Manka, Jr. today announced a deal that would essentially offer key executives a "green light" to produce any screenplay they have written or plan to write in the future. The deal comes after several top executives left last summer to pursue "other interests."

Mr. Manka, Jr. continued, "We've all got little songs, poems and plays and things that we put aside to tackle the business world. Finally, a company has created the environment to allow these folks the chance to revive their abandoned dreams and accomplish a few of them before we all die. Plus, they'll still do the business stuff. It's a win-win for Manka Bros. Hell, I was a in a couple of bands a few years ago, wrote some damn good songs. I think I'll record them on Manka Bros. Records!"

David Chang, CFO, Manka Bros. Studios, added: "We've got some pretty talented people here. Who knows, it might turn out okay."

No information was available about the first "executive" script to hit the fast track except to say that Robin Rafe, President of the Manka Bros. Theatrical Group, has been working on a secret project for the last few months (code name: Spider Girl). More details as they are available.
