Arrow – Episode 6 – “Legacies”
Reviewed by Vidar – The Norse God of Silence, Stealth & Revenge
Vidar has finally cracked the DVR and is watching back episodes of “Arrow” that were missed due to an emergency appendicitis.
Vidar has lost 35 pounds and is as skinny and muscular as Oliver Queen now – though a much better actor.
“Arrow” has gotten really terrible.
How did this happen?
Episode 1 should have won the Nobel Prize for Literature.
And here we are at Episode 6 “Legacies” and it couldn’t win a preschool writing contest – and preschool age writers have a written vocabulary of six words (two of them are their names).
Plot Summary: Arrow – Episode 6 – Legacies (provided by IMDB.com):
Oliver Queen’s next target is Scott Morgan, a power executive who jacks up prices for electricity when people most need it. John Dingle suggests they go after the gang of bank robbers that recently wounded a police officer during a daytime heist. Oliver is not so keen and John isn’t the kind of guy who gives up very easily. Oliver quickly identifies one of them as a high school acquaintance, Derek Reston – and learns that Reston may have turned to crime because of something Oliver’s father did. Tommy meanwhile isn’t having much luck with his hoped for romance with Laurel. He seeks Thea’s advice. Flashbacks show Oliver’s doubts about his survival on the island.
Sounds fine if you like eating shit. The whole ‘knocking-one-person-off-his-dad’s-bad-list is getting old.
Week after week basically the same plot.
Here’s another shirtless action picture (see right) – if you like that sort of thing.
Vidar is bored.
Perhaps it’s time to watch Episode 7 – “Oliver Takes His Shirt Off, Again” – or instead, maybe I’ll just smash my head a few times with Thor’s hammer.

P.S. – It’s possible that the show isn’t that bad and all Vidar needs is solid food (it’s been three weeks!)
