‘Laughing Stock’ premieres on MBS. The show was an incredibly popular comedy show for kids and adults featuring life-size talking cow puppets who perform songs and skits. It ran until February 9, 1964 – the night The Beatles first appeared on Ed Sullivan. After that night, ‘Laughing Stock’ was considered ‘stupid’ by most people in America.
