The Soundtrack from the Manka Highbrow film  ‘Pinto: El Pollo Tocando Flauta’ (Pinto: The Flute Playing Chicken) hits number one on the album charts. It remained a huge hit until it was discovered that Pinto (the chicken) didn’t actually play the flute which resulted in such global outrage that CDs were burned in bonfires and the film was disgracefully pulled from award consideration.

Manka Music Group’s White Cliffs Of Dover (English folk superstars from the 1960s) attempted a comeback in 1982 with ‘Assisted Suicide,’ a social relevant album about dying with dignity. It was not a hit.
