Son Of God

There are things beyond our seeing.

Understanding is the impossible.

But they are real.

Really.

Some are good (Casper The Friendly Ghost, Caspar in Finland).

Some are not (Magneto).

Some are old (Dracula).

Some are new (Dr. Manhattan).

But all real super-duper people have to come from somewhere with the origin story.

Even the “Son of God.”

For an origin story, it is not too original.

This was on my TV in before times, I am sure of it.

Yes, I drink. Yes, I smoke the sweet, sweet smoke. I am forgetting things.

But this was on my TV – but with more longer. On the History Channel.

And President Obama was, in it, as the Satan. He is not in “Son of God” that I have seen.

Am I crazy? Am I victimized by mind tricks?

No.

Thank God (not his son, but Odin) for press kit. I read and am relieved.

“Son of God” is last part of “The Bible“ – the same!

Yet very different.

Plot? Well… yes.

The earth starts.

Then a bunch of crap happens, very fast.

Then story. The Virgin Mary (Leila Mimmack) gets knocked up, and in panicking says “God did it! I am no slut but a virgin!” (not in movie was this said, but in real life – disclaimer: I was not there, but I know things).

Then Baby Jesus, Son of God! He grows to a manhood in a blinking eye.

And everyone in the Middle East is from Europe. Cool.

Super handsome Jesus model (Dioga Morgado) is awesome-er than any Son of God that came before (per the film).

He does magic.

He (maybe) does Mary Magdalene (Amber Rose Revah). Who wouldn’t?

He does big talk (“I will change the world!”)

He does bigger magic (raising the dead – suck it Penn and Teller!!!).

He pisses off the powerful (various old Jewish guys, but not in real life). They are so mad that they nail him to the wood. And spear him in the side.

Then it is nothing but death.

The Romans do the last three sentences. Not the Jews. Back off, Nazis.

But wait. More to be.

Jesus wakes up from dead!

Freaking out is the only option for Jerusalem, and so the freaking happens – with nice light and background orchestra.

Then The Jesus gets the heck out of Dodge, never to be seen again.

So. Two confused thumbs, afraid of the Walking Dead. Jesus story was longer on my television, and now you are to pay to see it shorter on bigger screen with expensive mouth treats.

Hmmm. Maybe worth it, maybe not.

There have been better super hero origin stories. And the villains are the suck.

Old Jews are not scaring anyone, and they have no super powers. Except in Hollywood. Those old Jews fill the fear in any living person.

Old Hollywood Jews, if I have offended you my sorry is bigger than any other sorrys. Sorry.

Watch “The Bible” on Netflix. Longer, but you get Obama Satan.

Pompeii [REVIEW]

This did not happen – yet the reality would make a fool of he who ignored what did not happen, yet happened… in reality.

In the cinema.

With the greatest comedy ever being made – the soon to be funny classic “Pompeii 3D.”

There was no expecting of this happening.

I know the story.

Rome spring break party place (Pompeii) is built next to Kaboom Mountain.

Kaboom Mountain goes “kaboom.”

Pyroclastic flow zips down from above (at 450 miles an hour – take that “Not So Fast, And Not As Furious as Kaboom Mountain” movies), and all the spring breakers turn into sad statues under the ash.

We learn from this that we will live further from volcanoes. This makes sense.

The sad statues say to Hollywood – “We were once happy and hot (in looks, not from volcano). We had love, horses, and greasy gladiator fighters. And togas. What a movie we will be!”

Hollywood says to the sad statues “Well, OK!!! All will be used! Laugh riot is coming to the multiplex!”

It was not funny in the begin times.

Plot? Yes.

The Celt (soon to be, in the future past, Kit Harington) watches Corvus (Kiefer Sutherland) overact his family into death.

The Celt becomes slave, and soon grows amazing abs that leak their own oil. He becomes a gladiator and moves from rain drippy London to super awesome Pompeii.

On a road, he sees Cassia (Emily Browning). She is so hotly beautiful and rich that The Celt must break a horse’s neck.

The horse is OK with this.

Romance is in the air, the horse is on the ground.

Many things happen.

Badass Atticus (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) is gladiator version of poor retiring cop on last day of cop job. He is toast and also a friend.

There are other actors and not much fun for first hour.

We learn The Celt is really The Milo. He not only has oily abs, but is a horse whisperer.

He longs to use Cassia’s pouty mouth lips as flesh pillows.

Don’t we all.

Kaboom Mountain says “This is my film, now, son.”

And next is the seeing of flying volcano bombs from “2012” and earth rattle buildings to dust. In 3D, the sweet, sweet smoke in my head makes my arm throw popcorn from fear!

Corvus is angered and chews scenery.

Milo and Cassia are concerned for they may never bone.

Then it happens.

This is truth.

The giggles start in the screening theater. They infect everybody, but for an infection it is fine with me.

The dumb on the screen is actually comedy.

Paul W.S. Anderson, you are genius! We have been fooled on by you.

This is disaster laugh time! And laughter is everywhere. No one can stop.

I laughed with hardness at the last 15 minutes so hard that my abs almost leaked oil, too. My eyes leaked tears. My face felt the pain of joy. Pants may have also been pee’d.

We all (audience) walk to the lobby as credits roll.

All audience (we all) keep laughing. And laugh some more. We are now friends in laughter.

Unreal, but real.

“Pompeii 3D” is the funniest movie in my life that has danced on my eye balls. No shit.

Advice: Take a nap for first hour – nothing to be seen (damn PG-13, no Emily Browning boobies so rent “Sleeping Beauty” instead – you will thank me later). But as soon as Kaboom Mountain kabooms, all is well.

I am happy. I will see it again!

So go. You must. Kit Harington’s oily abs demand it.

P.S. Sweden, you are cheaters! Ice hockey is for men, not Swedes. Why did you poison Tuukka Rask?!? With his god-like wall powers in net you would be lucky if bronze was on you. RoboCop [REVIEW]

I don’t want to sound like a bitch bitching.

Yet things are forever the same.

Scene: Interior: Hollywood. Oldsters with the graying heads talk.

Oldster One: I have no idea of anything.

Oldster Two: I have to poop.

Oldster Three: Back in the day…

Then, into the room walks a younger oldster – a goddamn MBA.

Goddamn MBA: We don’t for having ideas. I just saw “RoboCop” from year’s long gone last night on IFC. Let’s make it three more times! If I had one original idea it would be my FIRST!!!

End Scene.

So I see the new “RoboCop.”

I fall back in to old ways.

I smoke the sweet, sweet smoke. I drink the Kossu. Ice cream bon-bons pressed against my taint. And I wonder – can this not be a suck-fest?

Can this be a mind changing of my mind event? Then there is the movie start.

MGM lion makes “Thrrrrrbbb, thrrrbbb” sound with the lion lips instead of “roar, I will eat your ass” sound.

So I turn to hot Finnish date Aino (her boobs are like rockets). Her look says “you are not too high – the lion just “thrrrrrbbbb”-ed.”

Man, this is movie done right!!!

And, do lions have lips?

Plot? OK.

Then the movie really starts. We have seen this in the before. Cop Murphy (Joel Kinnaman), soon to be Cop – Robo, has hot marriage ruining wife (Reese Witherspoon thanks you, Abbie Cornish).

He is good cop. He must fight cops for who to them good is just bad.

And more profitable.

Then the kaboom.

Enter Dr. Norton (Gary Oldmam) who works for the worst Batman (Michael Keaton) to make a robot cop a human/robot cop that will make liberals squeal and let drones fly our skies and walk our streets.

And he does.

Black Bill O’Reilly (Samuel L. Jackson) lets from his mouth place propaganda squirt. We must have robot cops. Drones are for the making of the friendly sky.

OK. I get it. Today has so many more troubles than 1987 things must be redone.

Or maybe not.

Damn, thinking is harder than not for thinking.

But the remake must be the remade. We have no choice.

For one more time this year I feel that I am watching Brad on the X-Box. (Brad is asshole roommate, but he did replace his eaten PB with the crunchy. Nice first step, Brad. Dick.)

Brad’s RoboCop rides a motorcycle. Well done!

Brad’s RoboCop hunts down bad guys with face mask giving him cheats. Done even better!

When is my turn? I would like to have the game for the playing.

But no. I must watch.

God dammit.

The last half of “RoboCop” is watching the roommate bogart the controller.

Don’t bogart the controller, my friend – pass it over to me!

So, thumbs are confused. Stuff is cool. Stuff is remade, but not better.

Where is Red (“come on, dumbass!”)?

Will there ever be new ideas?

Will the new “300” movie be more guys covered with oil?

This job is hard and then harder.

And with summer movies coming, my face makes a sad.

Summer is coming.

Crap storm.

Who will survive?

See “RoboCop” if you must.

The LEGO Movie [REVIEW]

The LEGO Movie

This is the time of my exploding brain lobes.

How many times, in the living life, do we see our childhood dancing on the screen?

I want to believe that life is better than life is, but often it is not.

Then I go to the cinema.

Crap shoots in to my eye holes.

Not this time.

The movie light rushed over my body like a warm Kossu flowing from the mouth of Freyja (her chariot is pulled by two cats! Yowza!).

As I sucked the life out of many bon-bons while theater sitting, I was certain of one fact:

The LEGO Movie is the greatest story ever told.

And I wasn’t even high.

Can I begin? I will try.

First, the plot.

Emmit (Chis Pratt) follows the rules better than any LEGO person or people person has ever followed. His favorite song (“Everything Is Awesome”) rocks just enough so that it may not rock.

That’s O.K.

He works. Watches a show about lost pants (better than anything J.J. Abrams has pooped out – I’m look at you, “Lost”).

Then comes the “Piece of Resistance” followed by Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks – hottest LEGO ever!) and war with Lord Business (Will Ferrell).

The animation is better than my sleep brain movies after having eaten my medicinal brownie!

Colorful and alive.

Then even more colorful.

Then come the almost hallucination cool-ness of almost everything to come.

My eyeballs actually said “what the hell?” I couldn’t answer them.

Everything was too awesome.

Then I thought that “whoa, this movie is saying “hey, 99 percent, wake up and take back the world” and also ‘be yourself and screw the powerful'”.

These things I, Kimmo, would do – but I’m a pussy.

LEGOS are not pussies.

Oh, and the movie has Batman (Will Arnett) and a white Morgan Freeman (Morgan Freeman).

Damn! What more is there to ask for?

Except for maybe a naked Jennifer Lawrence (not made of LEGOS, but in human flesh form).

That would have made a happy place in my pants.

So, two thumbs aching to the highest atmosphere.

I will even say, with full truth, that The LEGO Movie will be good to you EVEN IF YOU AREN’T DRUNK OR HIGH!

Just like Shark Night 3D!

See this movie many, many times.

Then again.

You will say “Kimmo, you are awesome for making me see The LEGO Movie many, many times, and then again.”

I will say “You are welcome, dude man!!!”

P.S. The Olympics are here! Please, Finland, destroy the hated butt-faced Swedes.That is the only game that I worry for with hardness.

But not my brother Olli.

Olli wants Finland to win every Olympic game of hockey by 7 goals. He isn’t wanting for another heart attack-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack (he oughta know by now). HA! Near death can be funny, too!
