An Apology:  I was away in Finland for a tragic family.  My own.  To say, without too much, a cousin lost a fight with a cod boat.  He was torn.  But unlike The Humpty Egg, there was no putting him back from pieces.

Plus, there was college football andGlee” (Ryan MurphyLindsay in only one episode so far?  Are we now enemies?  I could do worse on you than a cod boat – these are words!).

There was a time when the children all wanted to replace their little robot with a teddy bear to cuddle.

Or My Little Pony.

Or Dancing Torval, the Helsinki Wonder Elf (I miss you, Torval).

Today, society is violent, it offers young people an alternative rather disturbing.

The 11 year old wants his robot, but he be at war with other machines on boxing rings, the risk of losing its bolts and pay a lot of oil (out of his machine hole – nasty!).

Times change and Hollywood follows the trend increases or whatever.

In any case, the script “Real Steel” is confusing in this regard, the robot found in one case, which saves the life of the child is not receiving the emotional one, but no longer represents that an object dedicated to letting off steam in future games where at least the man has been replaced by powerful machines, he leads with voice or video game controllers (this is my newest entry in “The World’s Longest Sentence Competition.”  Be sure to vote!).

You can’t even stop Michael Bay, although for this he is not to blame.

At this level, these robots mark such progress that one wonders how the company proposed in futuristic “Real Steel” look like much of our time.

Apart from mobile phones and computers that are with transparency, the proposed future on the screen looks suspiciously like our present, or at least that of some American redneck present (“The Help” had no robots, but many rednecks), that of the hinterland that allows director Shawn Levy, director accustomed to pure comedy, giving us some very nice shots of landscapes.

His staging is really neat and keen, away from its usual entertainment achievements of great magnitude (“Liar, Liar”, “The Pink Panther”, “Night at the Museum”).

Magnitude!

Show very light for adults who will see an appropriate starting point for a racy tale of anticipation and visceral gutiness (maybe sex?  Even more disappointing than “Glee”), “Real Steel” is exclusively for young people, especially during the film fun to patch up a crappy, unworthy father, obsessed with combat (he is himself a former boxer), and the son he never knew, since he abandoned at birth, the son.

He is close to his son through the shared passion for real life Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots.

What would he have been so indifferent to fighting had the kid?

Faced with this single-minded and immature father, completely loser, the child finds the right horse (well the good robot) to win fights, takes the control during competition and after a few opponents, already finds himself facing the champion of the world, the invincible Zeus (so fake!  Zeus was a god, not a robot… Duh.)

Major madness for me – why in the name of hell was Evangeline Lilly wasted so?

And why am I still so mad at the “Lost” ending that left my life sucked like Twinkie filling?  I tend for forgetting my viewing of the film – “Lost” really pissed me off.

Where was I?

Oh yeah, “Real Steel” – one thumb thinking “Hugh, be Wolverine already”, the other thumb thinking “Why did the Dharma Initiative exist – where did Ben Linus get all the money – and… an exploding submarine?!?

I mean, COME ON!!!!!”  Damn you, “Lost”.

Go see it.  Or don’t.  Whatever.

First, a discredit:  I love Megan Fox (Jennifer’s Body – yowza!  I was almost made to forgot Ginnifer Goodwin!).

And Shia LeBoeuf now credit can be given for the giving of the meat(!) while she was with her 90210 husband?

Not cool, Shia… not cool.

Now to the reviewing.

Michael Bay has been a director always who has the lowest standard given free rein in his films.

Feminine curves (these are good), the delight in the perfectly shaped poses from the most daring of view (that’s right), the male senses, polished stainless bodies that cast a sea of lens flare into the cameras (look out JJ Abrams!) and real heroes in uniform who carry the backlight in distinctive silhouettes.

The real guy who sleeps in each one of us suggests that it displays them on the hairy chest and shouts out a fervent Tarzan screaming in the world (much like me).

Here is Michael Bay talking:  “A real guy needs a movie with testosterone in the bloodstream, and an eye for the essentials: cars, butts, aliens (not in that order)!”

Transformers the 3rd: Dark of the Moon (Lazer Floyd!) is the film revelation and epileptic overkill, which the audience and the cinema owners were hoping for so long.  The stylized action vindicated the over-priced 3D effect, and vice versa.  The humor may now again be laughed heartily without interfering on the borderline banality of the second part.

Transformers the 3rd takes a whopping 157 minutes and operates on a broad level.  Megan Fox’s ass and marble belly while leaving a gaping hole (don’t even think it, Shia), but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gazelle legs and an absence of self-esteem affects what sexy outfits, makes the loss more than up for it (almost, but I admit that she is lengthy!)

Michael Bay will never grow up and his camera never not move and that’s why we love him?

What?

The 3D effect is due to the native style handsomely turned out – but just as volatile as the paint on the Autobots.  Also, the content of amateurism from Transformers 2 will be largely spared.

If you still remember the slogan from the second film recalls says that “Only a Prime can kill a Prime” – which is to capture the action of the third part in full: “Only a Prime can resurrect a Prime.”

Knowing about these facts once swallowed, the rest of the film stripped of leaves before the mind’s eye and the viewer is unaffected from surprises.  But the Transformers movies were anyway never looked for their offense, at least, is an old saying – so old as to be not understandable.

But the fact remains that the film series has reached a dead end.  The same hero stereotype, the same car brands, the same threats, same jokes.

With the new Shia LaBeouf (asshole!) again on the site itself needs love are back at 0.  It was a physical impossibility, that could turn Transformers the 3rd worse than its immediate predecessor – and this is proven correct.

But as B.B. King sang, “the thrill is gone”, Michael Bay‘s robot toys have lost their appeal, what remains is a pile of crap metal that sparkles in sunlight and impressed by its size – but no more.

Size doesn’t matter.  Which is what Megan probably said to the Shia meat (Carey Mulligan, too).  We can dream.

With wit, reviewed by Kimmo Mustonenen

Here’s another “Nazi” this time after last week’s scene that happened in with Lars Von Trier.

This time by Paolo Sorrentino, the political correct approach and without any relation to the Prankster (he went upside down) in Trier, in “THIS MUST BE THE PLACE” is opposite of an exemplary character that explains one of the greatest actresses of the era, Sean Penn.

As another type rocker Alice Cooper comes to America to seek his dark character a Nazi actually means bringing the target of revenge and strong parental memory.

What?

(As indeed it was Terence Malick not stepped foot in order to hear “anyone” yes “to the asking the long and short, for the experiential ecstatic experience TREE OF LIFE.)

Sean Penn said the film collaboration with Sorrentino was excellent and that somehow it had assessed the potential of this director, from Cannes in 2008.

For the film, which will describe a visual narrative, himself Sorrentino said he talked about working in America is something that clearly makes you realize that this country is “THE LAND OF CINEMA”, and how to filming the streets is something unprecedented.

But, Mr. Sorrentino, what it means for you finally the relationship of characters in the film?

But this first of all,” he said, and continues “first of all we have before us the relationship between a former Nazi and a rocker older dude, which can not be stopped or rock and roll, nor child, so this is all the narrative challenge for me, this polarity.

The “THIS MUST BE THE PLACE” is a powerful film.  The memory of the vengeance and the projection of guilt watering the frame.

YES!

With this film, which complements the image interpretation and word, now the director establishes the tone and opens the door to a bright future films.

Let us take, although it is surprising to me the Golden Palm in this movie (I would have this be given).  I insist on the Terrence Malick and a second level in front of the dynamics of the best years long, the likelihood of a third Golden Palm, which in this case will make history.

But do you think De Niro would prefer the Belgian social realists of minimalism, from the mystic fellow?  Not think so!

Even when Ginnifer Goodwin’s birthday was yesterday.  Love.
